At this point you should understand:

  • primitives work with lists
  • your own verbs work with lists
  • how to use several new verbs
  • how to use the plot facility
  • comparatives such as = that give numeric 0 and 1 results


Check your understanding by doing the following exercises:

  • look up the NuVoc definitions of the i. (integers), $ (shape), ? (roll), ^ (power), and o. (circle) verbs; in most cases only a part of their capabilities have been introduced, so you will have to read the definitions carefully to be able to ignore the parts not yet relevant, and to pick out the parts that are
  • experiment with the new primitives
