To hold or unhold a line

If the label of a line ends with the equals sign (=) then that line is held. If you try to backfit a value to that line, it will refuse to alter.

Choose menu: Command > Toggle Hold ⇧⌘H

• if the label ends with (=), the equals sign (=) disappears,
• but if the label does not end with (=), an equals sign (=) appears.

Another way to hold / unhold a line

Select the line you want to hold/unhold.

Click the tool: H (lower row in the toolbar, 3rd along).
